I was reading the newspaper today and came across an article about an incident that happened at Lakepoint, Curepipe… See here for details.
« Mone gagne coute poing, coute matraque lor mo la tête, coute pied couma dire zom pé la guerre. Ene bougre ine bloque moi, li pé batte moi, dans li pé rode leve moi pou jette moi dans lac nous tous les deux ine tombe dans de l’eau, éna lezot dimoune ti pé avoye roches lor nou »
Well is this a dance step or a special event held there? :S
As far as i know, pubs are meant to be places where people go to relax and enjoy after a tiring day, to have a drink ‘to forget their stressful life’ (enfin meme si mo pas boire moi) and to have a nice times with friends and relatives (dancing)
But what happened at lakepoint was it something really FUN???? Even after so many unpleasant incidents happening in pubs and discos, the situation still remains the same… There have been no improvements…
Just because of a few persons, pubs and discos have got a bad reputation. Isn’t there any way to stop all this?
And it’s assumed that only those who are adults attend the pubs… LOL is it really so???? I don’t think so…
It’s really very shameful for our country to still see such incidents… And please note that the above incident involved a family who had gone there to celebrate… and ended up in such a massacre…
I got only one thing to say… Come on people GROW UP…

Today i had a class at the Lecture Theater filled with more than 100 students… We were all following the lecture when we heard a discussion at the back… two students were arguing… this disturbed the whole class hence stopping the lecturer as well… The lecturer had to stop his lecture and asked what the problem was? One of the two said: “Sir, i am telling him to stop talking but he continues talking…” Well obviously this made the lecturer angry (well not really angry coz he is cool…) and simply said “It is important to attend the lecture but if you do not want to follow there’s no need to come to the lecture, i do not care whether u come or not…” Well he was right from his part…
But the main question here for me was: “Why should he disturb 100 students just because he is not being able to follow because of one single student? Was this the ideal way to tackle such a situation? Disturbing a whole class along with the lecturer? What mostly irritated me was the disrespect towards the lecturer… Please note that there were all students above 20 years old attending the lecture… Is this a way to react? We are all university students and supposed to act like mature persons… I wonder why people do not think well before doing something… It simply disturbed the whole class and frankly spoiled my mood… He could simply just request the talking student instead of arguing with him or even better change the place since there were many other free places to sit… I wonder whether the guy who complained was really following the class… or just wanted to attract attention…
This really hurts me when i see youngsters not respecting others… Well Hope this generation does not head towards doom…
May God Protect this World…
