Are pubs and discos really meant to relax and enjoy?

I was reading the newspaper today and came across an article about an incident that happened at Lakepoint, Curepipe… See here for details.

Well is this a dance step or a special event held there? :S
As far as i know, pubs are meant to be places where people go to relax and enjoy after a tiring day, to have a drink ‘to forget their stressful life’ (enfin meme si mo pas boire moi) and to have a nice times with friends and relatives (dancing)
But what happened at lakepoint was it something really FUN???? Even after so many unpleasant incidents happening in pubs and discos, the situation still remains the same… There have been no improvements…
Just because of a few persons, pubs and discos have got a bad reputation. Isn’t there any way to stop all this?
And it’s assumed that only those who are adults attend the pubs… LOL is it really so???? I don’t think so…
It’s really very shameful for our country to still see such incidents… And please note that the above incident involved a family who had gone there to celebrate… and ended up in such a massacre…
I got only one thing to say… Come on people GROW UP…

mais bien sure bizin ena familly pubs et hard core pubs where once in a while gagne 1 gud bar fight :p, its quite relaxing as casser les gueles et a se faire casser la guele :p you shud try.

Well depends on which pubs n discos u go…some have tight security and some may be more visited by families. but is true that violence is on the increase in many pubs n discos, and sometimes to forget the stress in our life we do need to make a stop there :p

:p sel problem with discos… are strobs :p those things hurt the brain aaahhh… i always feel like shooting those things down when they start flickering around :p
specially when they start to pick on you ..
a nice pub with some beer, some pools, and some immature dudes who are drunk and start to talk shit is fun
you should enjoy those simple pleasures of life, when you reach a certain point in life, you’ll pay to get those things, but then, its not the same :p

The situation will get back to normal only when they realise whatever they are doing whether it’s right or wrong… and as i have said earlier – These “Funs” as my dear friend says must be enjoyed only among those who really want it and not dragging families or innocent persons who do not wanna be involved in their FUN…
